Tightening and Breast Lifting

Full and upright breasts are considered one of the most important indications of femininity for every woman, but it is possible to disturb these presentations by some sagging that occurs in the breasts and reduces these features. Sagging may be due to severe weight loss after bariatric surgeries, after pregnancy and lactation, or hereditary issues among family members that cause a change in the breast structure and size over time.

Reasons for breast sagging:
Aging.
Enlarged breasts as a result of excessive weight gain and obesity.
Excessive smoking and consuming alcohol or narcotics.
Excessive exposure to sunlight.
Reaching menopause.
Failure of silicone implants.
The practice of breastfeeding in some women.

Does the breast have different sagging degrees?
Yes, the degree of sagging varies from one breast to another. It is determined by measuring the extent of the drop of the nipple and the areola area around it when viewed from the side of the breast. Breast sagging is divided into:
1. First-degree sagging: the nipple is one centimeter below the breast fold.
2. Second-degree sagging: the nipple is below the breast fold by more than one centimeter.
3. Third-degree sagging: the nipple of the breast points completely below the breast, and the nipple is almost invisible in the middle of the breast crease.
4. Pseudo-sagging: The nipple is above the breast crease, but the breast appears to be sagging.

Take the surgeon advice about your breast condition, perform some physical and laboratory examinations, evaluate the diseases that may interfere with your surgery, and proceed to treat them first.

Steps of breast lift surgery with Prof. Dr. Ahmed El Sherifa:
After applying general anesthesia under the supervision of a specialized anesthesiologist, Prof. Dr. Ahmed El Sherifa will make some surgical incisions around the saggy nipple. Then he will raise it to the required place, which is consistent with the rest of the breast, with the removal of excess breast tissue and fat if any. Then he will close those surgical incisions using cosmetic sutures that produce minor scars which disappear over time.

After breast lift with Prof. Dr. Ahmed El Sherifa, you will:
Start eating at least 2 hours after the surgery.
Begin standing and walking simple steps in the hospital yard 6 hours after the surgery.
Use a medical corset for the surgery, which Prof. Dr. Ahmed El Sherifa will advise you for at least 2 months after the surgery; to maintain the result of tightening and lifting as much as possible.
Keep the surgical incisions clean and change the dressings and drainage tubes that will be attached to the breast, according to Prof. Dr. Ahmed El Sherifa's advice; to reduce the infection that may occur in the breast after the surgery.
Commit to the prescribed painkillers and antibiotics after the surgery; to reduce pain and prevent any possible infection from worsening.
Use creams that reduce the appearance of surgical scars on the breast.
keep it from direct sunlight exposure for at least a year after the surgery, to preserve the aesthetic shape of the breast as much as possible.

What is the difference between breast lifting and breast reduction surgery?
The focus of breast lifting surgery is removing excess skin only and not the tissue or fat from the breast unless the patient desires that or there is a medical need that requires their removal during the lift. On the other hand, breast reduction surgery makes an internal change in the breast tissue and changes its size, not only a change on the breast surface for adjusting its appearance and reshaping it again. The two surgeries aim to improve the shape of the breast and give it a beautifully feminine appearance, and they can be performed together if necessary.

Complications that may result from breast tightening and lifting:
Bleeding during and after the surgery.
The long recovery time.
Infection at the site of the surgical incisions.
Occurrence of some sensory changes in the nipple or the breast as a whole, which may be a temporary absence of feeling or a permanent one.
Unclosed sutures.
Unsatisfactory results.

Breast lift surgery is not a luxury at all:
With age, the breast loses its feminine features, and with the occurrence of the necessities of life such as pregnancy and childbirth, and weight fluctuations, there is a stretching and loosening of the ligaments in the breast, so the breasts are unsupported and low, and the nipples are directed downwards along with the brown areola around them, or prolapsing may appear in one breast without the other, and the shape appears annoying that is not feminine at all, so the breast lift surgery is the one that restores that feminine luster with Prof. Dr. Ahmed El Sherifa in symmetrical coordination and without any trace of incisions or deep surgical scars.
